Outstanding Pimple Treatment

The teenagers worst nightmare: pimples. Whether it's acne, black heads, or zits these little blemishes have been reeking havoc with teenagers and young adults since the invention of mirrors. Adult acne is little bit bigger of a problem than people think as well. It is uncomfortable and some people will do all kinds of crazy pimple treatments to get rid of them.

Skin care should really start much before the acne actually appears. It is more about being proactive than reactive and is about being aware of preventive measures. One of the best things to do is follow daily skin care routines with complete discipline. So let's have a look at how this can be applied to our daily routine.

Keep your skin clean -- Wash your face and take a shower regularly. This may sound elementary, but it needs to be said. This will keep you skin clean. A night shower may be a good trick as well. It will get your skin clean after a long day of sweating, especially if you live in a hot or humid environment.

Keep you clothes and bedding clean -- If your clothes are too tight, they are going to accumulate sweat at a much faster rate. If you already have acne, cotton might be your best bet. Also, if you wear make-up, make sure you get that brush cleaned on a regular bases.

Use a mild, water-soluble, oil-free and soap-free cleanser - Use these to keep your face, neck and arms clean. Cleansing is the most important part of any routine. Cleaners are the easiest and the most effective way of removing dirt, grease, pollutants and excess oil from your skin, reducing the probability of acne. You should also remove your make up using a make up remover. This should happen before you go to bed, not in the morning.

Other tips:

--Avoid the squeeze. I know it's tempting, but it may leave you with a scar.

--Gentle cleansing and cleaning of the affected area using an over-the-counter medication and a clean/soft cotton pad is a good strategy.

--Try one of the hundreds of cleansers you see at the store or on TV. Do your research first, though.

--If you don't get your desired results, contact a dermatologist for acne skin advice and treatment.

-- Expensive and a last resort could be acne laser treatment. Do your research first !
